Kenny Roy 24 hours Marathon recording

Kenny Roy is an experienced animator that did a 24 hours animation marathon last month, to raise money for own animation project. He got it and has now uploaded the recording of the marathon with playblast and references that he used. You can watch it online and even download it.

(Quick tip) Maya Hidden Objects / (consejo rápido) Objetos ocultos en Maya

If you changed the visibility of an object in your scene to OFF and now you can't find the object to return the visibility to ON, go to Display > Show > here you can select whichever option you prefer: by all, by geometry... and hidden objects with these characteristics will appear in your scene..

Si cambiaste la visibilidad de un objeto a OFF y ahora no puedes encontrar el objeto para volver a poner la visibilidad a ON, ve a Display > Show> aquí elige entre lo que prefieras: todos (All), por un tipo de geometría... y los objetos ocultos con esa características aparecerán en tu escena.

3ds Max has two options of incremental saving:
3ds Max dispone de dos formas de Guardado incremental:

• Select File >Save or Save As > write the document's name> before saving click on [+] button you have beside Save.

          Selecciona File > Save o Save As > escribe el nombre del documento > antes de grabar clica el                botón [+] que hay junto a Save.

 

Drawn to life (book / libro)

This morning I received my last 2 books from Amazon: Drawn to Life volume one and two. I haven't started to read yet but I had a look this morning and they looked really nice :D. Although these books are sold separately, both are the same book divided, so you can read before the volume one, the volume two.

Esta mañana recibí mis dos últimos libros de Amazon: Drawn to Life volumen uno y dos. No he tenido la oportunidad de empezar a leer todavía pero les he echado un vistazo y tienen muy buena pinta. Aunque estos libros se venden por separados realmente conforman un solo libro que han dividos en dos volúmenes, es lo mismo si empiezas por el volumen dos antes que por el uno.
